Job Overview
As a Literary Talent Curator at Ìràwọ̀, you will be responsible for scouting, managing, and supporting authors under our agency. Your role involves guiding their careers, securing publishing and promotional opportunities, and ensuring their work reaches the right audience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Development:
- Identify and onboard talented authors with unique literary voices.
- Guide authors through branding, positioning, and career growth.
- Provide strategic feedback on manuscripts to align with market trends.
2. Career & Project Management:
- Develop individualised career roadmaps for each author.
- Work with author to organise and plan their literary brand as a thought leader
- Connect authors with publishers, literary agents, and marketing teams.
- Oversee book launches, publicity campaigns, and industry networking.
- Hire and liaise with editors, artists/illustrators, and graphics designers.
3. Industry Networking & Partnerships:
- Build relationships with publishers, literary festivals, bookstores, and media houses.
- Negotiate contracts and secure deals that benefit both the agency and the author.
- Liaise with bookstores and their distribution channels
- Liaise with bookstores for book readings and book signing events
- Organise and oversee book tours
4. Marketing & Promotion:
- Work with the Credo Fusion digital marketing team to promote authors’ books and personal brands.
- Explore media, podcast, and social media opportunities for increased visibility.
- Liaise with developers to set up author and book websites
- Set up author’s website, Blog, Medium account/other writing platforms
- Organise speaking engagements, Webinar showcase, etc
5. Administrative & Financial Oversight:
- Manage contracts, royalties, and financial agreements for authors.
- Ensure smooth communication between authors, publishers, and other stakeholders.
- Hire and Liaise with editors, artists, graphics designers, and the publisher.
- Liaise with The CredoFusion Comp. digital marketing team.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in talent management, publishing, literary marketing, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of the publishing industry, book marketing, and author branding.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to secure profitable deals.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- A passion for literature, storytelling, and supporting creative talent.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with authors, literary agents, or publishing houses.
- Background in public relations, communications, or business development.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, book publicity, and social media engagement.
Travel Requirements
- Be prepared to travel if necessary, for book events, author engagements, or partnership opportunities.
- Travel expenses, accommodation, and meals will be covered by the company.

Salary: N100,000 / month [To be reviewed after 6 months based on perfromance]
