Job Overview
We are looking for a Digital Marketing & Promotions Assistant to work closely with the Digital Marketing Director in content creation, campaign execution, and social media management. This role also involves collaborating with the graphics artist to curate compelling designs that align with our promotional calendar. The ideal candidate should be creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about digital marketing trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Strategy Implementation
- Assist in developing engaging content for digital campaigns, including social media posts, blogs, email newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Director to implement marketing strategies that align with clients’ business goals.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Optimize content for SEO and social media visibility.
- Social Media & Digital Campaign Management
- Manage and schedule posts across multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Monitor engagement metrics and provide reports on campaign performance.
- Interact with online communities by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assist in running paid social media ads and boosting campaigns to maximize reach.
Graphics & Visual Content Collaboration
- Collaborate with the graphics artist to develop eye-catching designs, banners, and promotional visuals for campaigns.
- Ensure that all designs align with the brand identity and marketing objectives.
- Brainstorm and contribute ideas for interactive digital content such as reels, carousels, and infographics.
- Additional Industry Responsibilities
- Assist in managing email marketing campaigns and subscriber lists.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI) for marketing activities.
- Stay updated with emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
- Support in preparing marketing presentations and proposals for clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and social media management.
- Proficiency in content writing, SEO, and social media marketing.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
